In a new step toward global environmental monitoring cooperation, a customized Outdoor Air Quality Monitoring System—based on Safewill’s advanced solution for multi-parameter pollution tracking—has been successfully delivered to a client in Ghana. This solution integrates NO₂, SO₂, CO, O₃, VOC, PM2.5, PM10, TSP, and meteorological sensors, and has been specially upgraded with a rainfall monitoring module to meet local environmental research needs.
The Safewill Outdoor Air Quality Monitoring System is a professional-grade device designed for continuous, real-time outdoor data collection. Leveraging electrochemical and laser scattering sensors, the system offers high precision detection of both gaseous pollutants and particulate matter. It is widely used in urban air quality assessments, industrial park monitoring, road traffic emission control, and public health research.
For the Ghana project, our technical team worked closely with the client to incorporate a rain gauge system that enables simultaneous tracking of precipitation patterns alongside air pollutant levels. This combination provides valuable insights into the interaction between rainfall and pollutant dispersion—critical for urban planning and environmental risk assessment in the region.
Key features of the customized solution include:
Multi-pollutant monitoring: NO₂, SO₂, CO, O₃, VOC, PM2.5, PM10, and TSP
Meteorological support: temperature, humidity, wind speed/direction, atmospheric pressure
Newly added: Rainfall sensor with real-time recording capability
Cloud platform access: 24/7 data viewing, historical trends, alert thresholds
Flexible power supply: Solar-powered option for field deployment
Modular design: Easy integration of additional sensors as needed
